The Kazakh Forest Steppe & Grasslands bioregion is part of the Kazakh Steppes & Hemiboreal Forests subrealm located in the Central Eurasia realm (central Palearctic). It contains three ecoregions—Kazakh Forest Steppe (731), Kazakh Steppe (732), Kazakh Upland Steppe (733)—totaling approximately 130 million hectares of land area. 

The Kazakh Forest Steppe & Grasslands bioregion is part of the Kazakh Steppes & Hemiboreal Forests subrealm and is made up of three ecoregions: (1) Kazakh Forest Steppe (2) Kazakh Upland Steppe (3) Kazakh Steppe.
