Taiga/Boreal Forest

Taiga (Boreal Forests)

Biome

Taiga, also known as boreal forest or snow forest, is a vast, cold biome dominated by coniferous trees such as spruce, fir, and pine. It experiences long winters and short summers, supporting moose, lynx, wolves, and extensive bird populations. Unlike temperate forests, it has lower biodiversity and is primarily found in Canada, Russia, and Scandinavia.
