Dr Aleks Terauds is a spatial ecologist with many years experience working and researching across a range of species in the Antarctic, sub-Antarctic and the Southern Ocean. Aleks’ research focuses on understanding where biodiversity is in these environments, why it is there, what threatens it and how those threats can be mitigated. He has a strong interest in applied research, especially that which can inform decision-making and drive conservation outcomes.
