Akashinga (formerly the International Anti-Poaching Foundation) delivers ecological stability and long-term protection of large-scale wilderness landscapes by supporting and empowering local communities.
Through two key approaches, they implement programs on the ground in strategically positioned areas which promote increased habitat protection and restoration, contributing to national and landscape-scale conservation strategies, and the empowerment of Indigenous peoples to protect their sovereign lands.
In delivering their programs, Akashinga aims to incorporate maximum amount of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) approved by the 193 member states. These are a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
