The World Future Council (WFC) works to pass on a healthy and sustainable planet with just and peaceful societies to our children and grandchildren. To achieve this, they focus on identifying, developing, highlighting and spreading effective, future-just solutions for current challenges humanity is facing and promote their implementation worldwide.
This project will create a new ground–breaking and open-source software to enable communities and cities to develop energy plans in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. In the pilot city of Hamburg, Germany, this project will be a participatory multi-stakeholder process that is needed to fill gaps in data and identify Hamburg’s specific energy needs.
